Pay: $14-$17/hr
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The Accounting Clerk will perform a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks to support the operations of the distribution center. You will play a key role in ensuring that financial data is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, verify billing statements, and manage payment schedules. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, handle customer collections, and follow up on payments.
- Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting software. Keep files organized for invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform account reconciliations and provide general accounting assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, AR/AP, general ledger, or data entry, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
