Job Title: Aerospace Test Equipment Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking an experienced Test Equipment Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting test equipment in a high-tech aerospace production environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, upgrading, and enhancing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems used for acceptance testing of avionics hardware. You’ll collaborate closely with on-site and remote engineering teams, delivering actionable insights and ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for factory test equipment, including troubleshooting and updates.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to analyze test failures and identify root causes.
• Maintain and update ATE systems, including instrumentation, cabling, and power components.
• Communicate effectively with engineering counterparts, leadership, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain organized action plans (RAIL) with clear and methodical documentation of engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in test equipment design and troubleshooting, especially in aerospace.
• Extensive knowledge of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used in production environments.
• Strong systems engineering skills with a robust hardware background.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in root cause analysis, Pareto failure analysis, and systems troubleshooting.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6-month contract with potential extensions
• Location: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ
• Team Structure: Work alongside 2 on-site resources and remote engineers
• Pay Rate: $54.00 – $58.00/hr
