We are seeking a reliable and skilled Residential Appliance Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various household appliances, ensuring they are set up and functioning correctly, and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience with residential appliance installation, and the ability to drive a van and pull a trailer.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver, install, and set up residential appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and stoves.
• Ensure all appliances are functioning correctly by testing electrical, water, and gas connections.
• Handle installations from start to finish, including unboxing, moving, and securely placing appliances in their designated areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.
• Provide clear and friendly communication with customers, explaining proper usage and maintenance of their new appliances.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles (vans) and trailers for delivery and installation.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment required for installations.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure the safety of both the customer and yourself.
• Maintain a clean work area during and after installations, disposing of packaging materials and any old appliances as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in appliance installation, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus.
• Ability to drive a van and pull a trailer, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot appliance issues.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy appliances (up to 100 lbs) and work in various environments.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work well with a coworker, collaborating and coordinating tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Compensation:

• Commission-based pay with a guaranteed base salary.
• Earnings are based on the number of installations completed and customer satisfaction.

• Refrigerators (side-by-side, French door, compact models, and built-in refrigerators with custom door panels)
• Washers and Dryers (stacked units, front-load, and top-load)
• Dishwashers (built-in models)
• Gas and electric ranges
• Microwaves (built-in models, over-the-range models)
• Wall ovens and cooktops
• Ice machines
• Range hoods
