Job Description
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers. In this role, you'll work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide exceptional care for children, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. You'll assist in planning and delivering engaging educational activities that cater to the individual needs of each child, ensuring a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in creating and implementing age-appropriate learning and developmental activities.
Support children's development in areas including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress and needs.
Ensure children's safety and well-being during all activities.
Collaborate with other staff to create an engaging and educational experience for all children.
Requirements:
A Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate is required.
High School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience in child care or child development.
An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Candidates without a CDA must be willing to obtain one within one year of employment.
