Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining real-time embedded software applications with a focus on C++ programming, complex problem solving, and operating system concepts.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Object-Oriented principles and C++ (version 11 or higher).
• Expertise in complex problem solving using data structures and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of operating system concepts.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments and real-time operating systems such as VxWorks or Integrity.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of standard communication buses and protocols (e.g., RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet).
• Experience in technical task leadership or subject matter expertise in relevant areas.
• Familiarity with source code control, issue tracking tools, unit testing, and static analysis tools.
• Ability to configure and manage a continuous test environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of Cyber Security concepts.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense products.
• Experience with board support packages and device driver development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications related to image processing, target detection, missile guidance/navigation/control, and system communication.
• Work with code written in C++ version 11 or higher in a Linux-based environment or real-time operating systems.
• Utilize source code control, issue tracking, and modern test tools for software development and maintenance.
• Contribute to technical task leadership and demonstrate expertise in embedded software development.
• Integrate and test software systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
