We are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role in our growing team. You'll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. Responsibilities

•Willingness and excitement to complete the day-to-day accounting tasks
•Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
•Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
•Consistently input daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process
•Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
•Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial statements
•Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
•Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner
•Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger

Qualifications

•Construction Accounting Experience required
•Growth mindset
•Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
•Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
•Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
•Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
•Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
•Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
•Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar ROI Construction
