Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
A bit about us: One of California's largest law firms has an open position for experienced litigation legal secretary to join their headquarter Irvine offices. Our client is an AmLaw firm with multiple office locations across the country and specializes in corporate law and complex litigation across a variety of practice areas including intellectual property, commercial litigation, labor and employment, and government investigations and regulatory compliance. We are seeking candidates with recent experience providing complex docket support in a similar fast paced environment.
The incoming legal secretary will provide litigation support to the a variety of the firm's practice disciplines, which include labor and employment, real estate, intellectual property, corporate law, tax, and government and compliance.
- Knowledge of state and federal court filing requirements
- E-filing in state, federal, and appellate court systems
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Preparation of legal documents, including motions, discovery, pleadings, briefs, judicial council forms, and others
- Ability to prepare TOAs/TOCs in Microsoft Word
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
- Efficient and effective attention to detail with a strong work ethic
- Familiarity with iManage, Coyote Analytics, Westlaw, Deadline Assistant, and PACER
- Team player with ability to interact cohesively work coworkers to achieve a common goal

Job Details A minimum of 3 years of recent legal secretary experience is required for consideration. Interested candidates must have strong familiarity with federal, California state, and local court rules and systems, excellent computer skills, and knowledge of litigation docketing and calendaring processes.
