Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Site Manager for our clinic in Cook, MN. The Site Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily functions and supervision of staff at the Cook Dental clinic. This position is responsible for implementing a positive team environment at the designated clinic location through employee engagement and improvement of business practices. The Dental Site Manager position may also assist in performing hygiene functions or dental assisting functions if in their scope. The ideal candidate for this position may also manage the Tower dental staff based on their preference and the optimal organizational structure.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

Comply with HIPAA requirements and standards to guarantee patient confidentiality.
Supervise and engage employees at clinic location.
Lead implementation of various clinical developments set forth by administration.
Provide developmental training to staff at clinic location.
Lead monthly staff meetings.
Complete annual employee performance reviews for dental support staff.
Develop and implement workflow processes and procedures for improvement of productivity.
Participate in the new hire selection process and interviews of exempt and non-exempt employees for designated clinic location.
Facilitate the training process for new dental support staff and providers.
Follow guidelines for the disciplinary actions of employees and be involved in the termination process when appropriate.
Attend required meetings such as but not limited to Compliance, Quality Improvement, and Site Manager meetings.
Manage staff and provider’s time off and approve payroll timecards.
Provide patient care as needed.
Follow reporting and safety processes for handling employee injuries.
Ensure facility is well kept and general maintenance is completed or coordinated.
Ensure radiation equipment is properly maintained, registered, and manuals are reviewed/standardized.
Maintain on-site OSHA program and general compliance.
Provide high-quality customer support to all patients and visitors including patient inquiries, complaints, and problematic treatments in conjunction with the Dental Director.
Manage proper dental coding and provide consultation to providers as needed.
Order or oversee the ordering and purchasing process for clinic supplies. Coordinate with dental providers to ensure appropriate supplies are available for patient care.
Physical presence at the workplace is an essential function of the job.

Site Manager Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration or related field (may be substituted for additional years of experience in areas of interest).
3 or more years working in a management role or related area.
3 or more years working in a dental clinic environment.
Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, procedures and techniques.
