Harris Spice is looking for a Marketing and Social Media Content Creator who loves to cook and create engaging marketing content to help drive awareness of our company’s capabilities and product lines.

The ideal applicant will have good knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms and trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to social media projects, monitoring, and posting on social networks, creating photos, videos, and gifs for social media and newsletters.

Job Description:

• Work with the Marketing team to create social media content to drive awareness
• Curating and creating Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn posts and content
• Posting on Instagram, Tiktok, and LinkedIn
• Knowledge of brand and marketing strategy
• Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands
• Send out monthly newsletter email content for B2B audience
• Create engaging blogs and social media content involving spice and seasoning recipes, cooking, application ideas, and highlighting capabilities
• Monitor consumer comments and social media engagement
• Support creative needs for marketing and sales
• Develop sell sheets, brochures, website content, photography, videography

QUALIFICATIONS

• Instagram, LinkedIn and Social Media experience & good knowledge of tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who is able to think quickly and work well with a team.
• Highly skilled in project management tools (Monday.com/Asana) and able to meet deadlines
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Linkedin, Tiktok
• Basic knowledge of photo and video editing is ideal
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Onedrive, Outlook, Powerpoint
• Newsletter and website content development – experience with Mailchimp and Shopify
• Experience with Adobe suite is a plus!
• Must be organized & efficient, managing timelines and working independently
• We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and can grow with us
• Work California hours – Pacific Standard Time

Job Type: Part time, roughly 20 hours a week. Flexible schedule and open to remote, with preference given to local candidates.
