You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Responsibilities

•Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations
•Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast
•Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals
•Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability
•Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses

Qualifications

•Previous hotel sales experience ideally in a DOS role
•Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
•Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills
•Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
•Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Airport
