Electrical Power Engineer - Remote with Travel (US/Canada/Mexico)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Specialization in Power Distribution and Power Systems
• SKM
• Strong experience in Arch Flash studies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to provide guidance for on-site and remote troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with corporate and plant personnel, Project Managers, and various disciplines.
• Develop and modify electrical designs.
• Conduct plant walkdowns to gather essential data for arc flash studies.
• Update arc flash study files using SKM Power Tools software.
• Perform calculations, create/modify drawings, and write scopes of work.
• Coordinate with external contractors/vendors and make site visits as needed.
• Write equipment specifications and develop preliminary designs.
• Prepare Material Takeoffs (MTOs) and man-hour estimates.
• Provide on-site and remote guidance for troubleshooting power systems across 50 North American industrial manufacturing facilities.
