Akkodis is seeking an Electronic Engineering Technician for an onsite and temp-to-hire role in Westerville, OH. Qualified candidates will have expertise in soldering and component-level troubleshooting of printed circuit boards. The ideal candidate will excel in repair, performing preventive maintenance and calibration, ensuring technical accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Pay Range: $30-35 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Electronic Technician job responsibilities include:

• Performs workshop tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing.
• Checks bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts needed for service activity and ensures that all materials, parts, and equipment are available.
• Ensures the completion, processing, and maintenance of all required documentation.
• Assists in identifying and resolving quality and reliability problems, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Executes work as per first-time right approach and ensures the job is done on time and as per quality standards.
• Identifies improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the ways of working, communicates them proactively and drives minor improvement actions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School diploma. Preferred Associates degree in Electronics field.
• Knowledge of Electronics Principles.
• 5+ years of experience in Component-Level Troubleshooting of electronic circuits/PCB’s.
• Electronic component Soldering skill is a must. IPC certification preferred.
• Use of diagnostic tools (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, etc).
• Good communication and technical writing skills.
• Microsoft tools (Word, Excel).
• Candidate must be a US Citizen due to government contracts.
