Job Title: Entry-level Accounting/Office Assistant

Location: Lowell /Tyngsboro/remote

Positions : One

Duration: Part-time position (20 hours a week, hours between 9-5 pm) with the potential to go full-time

Start date: June

Hourly rate: $20/hr

Job Summary:

The Entry-level Accounting/Office Assistant will assist the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Corporate Management and the Talent Acquisition team. This role will require you to wear many hats, no two days are quiet the same. Current college student or recent graduate student encourage to apply (great position for Business Administration/Accounting degrees).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quickbooks : Create and send invoices, manage and track unpaid bills, etc... Use most functions in Quickbooks
  • Create excel spreadsheets using internal employee data, skill sets from their resume, government contract numbers, etc. Work in conjunction with Program Managers to source the information required.
  • Assist Corporate Management with executive summaries for government RFP's and additional tasks that are required.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline in ATS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and as needed to support the operational success of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel (required), Word and Outlook)
  • Must be computer savvy as you will learn multiple DCAA compliant systems (accounting, timekeeping, ATS)
  • Must have a vehicle as there will be some traveling to downtown Lowell and Tyngsboro office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (Business Management/Accounting/Finance)
