Position Summary:
Candidates are required to operate a punch press with an induction heater to forge heads on high strength bolts and run forging press. Candidates are required to monitor temperature of punch press, feed bolt in and out of punch press with pliers. Ability to prepare set-up a plus.
Minimum Qualifications :
Micrometer and caliper experience a plus. High School graduate or equivalent. Basic math and reading skills. Lifting to 25 lbs. and moving 40 lbs. pans with dollies.
Reporting Relationships:
Will report to lead person or department supervisor.
Working Conditions:
Standing most of the time. Repetitive motion (approximately 2 times a minute). Candidate will be working on a powerful punch press machine to run batches of high strength bolts at a constant heated temperature of 1800°ree;.
Success Factors :
The candidate should have a good attitude and be willing to learn. Good communications skills a plus. Candidates should understand the importance of material flow- constant and steady
Position type :
Requires full work time only. Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.
