Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Netezza Azure Databricks and ETL Tool - Informatica. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and the ability to drive projects to successful completion. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
· Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using IBM Netezza Azure Databricks and Informatica.
· Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster skill development.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Ensure the performance scalability and reliability of data systems.
· Develop and enforce best practices for data management and ETL processes.
· Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to resolve issues promptly.
· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions and processes.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
· Participate in project planning and provide accurate estimates for development tasks.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
· Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Qualifications
· Possess extensive experience with IBM Netezza Azure Databricks and Informatica.
· Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
· Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
· Have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
· Display the ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
· Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
Certifications Required
· IBM Certified Solution Developer Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate Informatica Certified Professional
The annual salary for this position is between $[135,000 – 140,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
