  • These Contractors will be reporting into our LinkedIn Sales Solutions Insights organization that is part of Global Services. They are being contracted to partner with our US based Strategic and Key Accounts sales partners by providing sales consultation and custom analysis to support our largest revenue growth opportunities.
  • They should be able to create data-driven narratives and powerful data visualizations to support ROI value conversations and be able to present their analysis to external and internal stakeholders at the senior executive level.
  • As an Insights Analyst, you’ll apply your strong analytics and business acumen to uncover insights from LinkedIn’s expansive data, to demonstrate realized value for our largest customers and the LinkedIn Sales Solutions Business.
  • You’ll partner with our top strategic sales account managers to identify key customer objectives and deliver data-driven analyses that support sales and business strategies.
  • Your insights will empower customers to fully understand and maximize the value of their LinkedIn investment. By clearly communicating your findings to both internal and external stakeholders—across technical and non-technical audiences—you’ll play a key role in enabling strategic decision-making and strengthening our partnerships.
  • You will strive to make the complex simple and confidently articulate insights in a way that drives clarity out of ambiguity. You will be a strong partner, build trust through effective identification and communication of priorities, and proactively seek out and integrate feedback.
  • You will be an expert at using SQL to extract data from LinkedIn’s massive data warehouse and turn that data into compelling stories that support these strategies.
  • You will build strong relationships with your partners, customers, peers and stakeholders through clear communication, proactive collaboration and sharing ideas and best practices. You will be responsible for successfully managing and tracking your time to focus on driving high quality, inspiring analyses that drive action and impact for the business.
  • Location – NYC (Hybrid)
  • First day in the office and onsite until onboarding and training completed - can go to just 2 chosen days a week.
  • Will have some specific days for meetings that they will need to be onsite throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage LinkedIn’s unique data to create actionable insights that continuously improve customer value and scale business impact
  • Provide consultative insights partnership to internal and external customers to deliver analyses that drive action.
  • Drive successful execution of your deliverables through effective identification, tracking and planning of work priorities based on the potential impact for the business
  • Continuously identify and leverage workflows and processes to help drive further productivity and efficiency for both you and your partners, including leveraging AI technologies where possible.
  • Write SQL queries to extract necessary data and utilize Tableau, Excel and PowerPoint to analyze the results and present the relevant business insights to clients

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in analytics providing data analysis & insight generation (ideally in a consulting role)
  • 3+ years' experience working with SQL and visualization tools (PowerPoint preferred, Tableau is ok) to extract, analyze and present data that supports customer and internal business goals. (Using existing and also being able to manipulate code to create new analysis based on products)
  • 3+ years' experience working with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Needs to be able to do the analysis and also be customer facing
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills to support multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong consultative storytelling - translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making and strategy.
  • Experience working directly with sales, customer success, marketing and/or sales-related stakeholders (presenting and partnering to assist these teams)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize code, workflow processes and build efficiencies to streamline delivery of insights. - Copilot - using AI to optimize and improve productivity - Big push for the team this year
  • Experience in the technology industry providing actionable insights to customers
  • Experience with project management and working cross-functionally with sales teams, customer service, marketing, data services and engineering
