The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time Interior Designer II with a minimum of 6 years' related experience for our Kansas City studio location. In this role you’ll play an active role in project design, client communication, material selection and management. You’ll lead design concepts, create detailed floor plans, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. You can expect to work with a project team that ensures the projects meet metrics for energy performance, financial performance and design excellence. What You'll Do Develop design concepts for projects, including conceptualizing layout, color schemes, furniture arrangements, and material choices. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure that the design is executed and deadlines are met. Conduct site visits and supervise the installation of furniture, furnishes and design elements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. What You Bring Professional degree in Interior Design Certification as licensed professional, preferred. Minimum of 6 years’ related experience Experience working with high-design projects Strong skills in communication, design, and consultant coordination Ability to create new ideas both independently and in collaboration Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and be flexible to support numerous teams in any project phase Who You Are Strategic thinker with a creative mindset Confident communicator and relationship builder Curious, culturally attuned, and design-literate Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgment Agile, organized, and deadline-driven Why Join Us?
