Job Description

• We are seeking a seasoned Internal Auditor with extensive experience to oversee and execute closure verification testing for Fed/OCC issue remediation actions. Key responsibilities include:
• Overseeing completion of closure verification testing performed by junior auditors, ensuring design and operational effectiveness of Fed/OCC remediation actions.
• Performing design and operational effectiveness testing of Fed/OCC issue remediation actions directly.
• Interacting and collaborating with management action owners to assess remediation progress.
• Reviewing and assessing documentation of action plan completion.
• Selecting and testing operational instances of new and enhanced controls supporting action plan completion.

Essential Skills:

• Advanced expertise in audit issue verification techniques.
• Strong familiarity with U.S. regulatory expectations.
• In-depth knowledge of suspicious activity monitoring controls, including automated monitoring and case management systems, AML risk typologies, transaction alert handling, financial crimes investigations, SAR reporting, and program governance
• Comprehensive understanding of customer due diligence processes, including onboarding workflows, risk assessments, CIP/CDD/EDD regulatory and industry expectations, periodic reviews, ongoing activity monitoring, policies, and governance frameworks.

Desirable Skills:

• Strong expertise in audit verification techniques and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with AML monitoring systems and financial crime prevention controls.
• Advanced knowledge of customer onboarding and due diligence best practices and regulatory compliance.
