OVERVIEW OF ANALYST POSITION

We are hiring an Analyst to join our investment banking team in Nashville, TN. Analysts support our team members and receive intensive training and experience across the broad spectrum of our firm’s investment banking activities. We seek Analysts who possess technical proficiency in key areas, attention to detail, high personal expectations, and a continuous drive to learn and build skills. Above all, our Analysts must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment to develop solutions to challenging, complex problems. Silvermark Analysts must have a high degree of maturity, confidence, and excellent interpersonal skills, as the junior members of our firm interact extensively with our firm’s senior team members and clients.

ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

We hire dedicated, team-oriented Analysts with backgrounds that reflect perseverance, accomplishment, creativity, and strong work ethic. Qualifications / skills include:

· Internship or 1 year of full-time experience in investment banking

· Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment

· Comfort in and commitment to collaborative, team-oriented environment

· Ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and mature manner

· Advanced financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills

· Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

· Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong work ethic, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Comfort with steep learning curves and working under time constraints

· Notable accomplishments individually and / or as a member of a team

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Supporting transaction execution – including development of confidential information memoranda, management of virtual data rooms, and coordination of due diligence activities

· Participating in client meetings and managing relationships throughout all phases of an engagement

· Performing financial modeling and valuation analyses

· Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research

· Supporting business development activities – including requisite research, development of advice and recommendations, and preparation of presentation materials
