Job Description Overview:

Contract review: analyze legal risks and issues and communicate the same to internal stakeholders. Provide litigation support and legal operations support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Negotiate and review contracts including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, sales representative agreements, logistics agreements, sales agreements, and marketing agreements for entities in the Americas.
2. Collect, review and analyze documents for litigation discovery purposes or in response to subpoenas.
3. Coordinate and assist with board meetings and other corporate governance matters.
4. Assess risks and provide sound legal advice considering the business context.
5. Educate policies and procedures to employees.
6. Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.

Required Qualification:

1. JD or foreign equivalent; admission to a US state bar.
2. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Work Experience:

1. 0-2 years of relevant legal experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
3. Proficiency in written Chinese.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. In-house legal department experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

1. Office Only: Typically works in an office environment.
2. Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time.

$85,000 - $95,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
