Job Description & RequirementsContinuum Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced NP/PA to provide locums coverage for Hospitalist program mainly to focus on admissions, consults and co-management of ED holds and admitted patients. NP/PA will need to come in the day before their first scheduled shift for a paid orientation.Dates Coverage Is Needed:May 4-Sept 4 *with the possibility to extend coverage furtherSunday-Thursday 2pm-10pmOpportunity Highlights include:Established hospitalist service inclusive of 2 MD/D0 and 4 NP/PA/ Average total inpatient census: 17-21Average number of patients per day per APP: 8-10Average number of admissions per day: 4-6 during the day and 5-7 at nightNo critical care responsibilitiesLocums will respond to codes but not in the EDLocums will not serve as back up in the Emergency Department but will consult on holds in the ED.Clean, Active NC licenseBoard Certified2 years of NP/PA Hospitalist Experience.DEABLS and ACLS are required.Malpractice, Accommodations and Travel provided.Please contact me for full details.
