Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity located in the Old Bridge, New Jersey area. The role we are seeking is a Machine Maintenance Supervisor who will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our machinery. Here, you will not only oversee the maintenance of our machines but also directly engage with vendors for parts.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the efficient operation of machinery by performing regular checks and maintenance tasks
• Manage the repair of machines in case of any breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Liaise with vendors to procure necessary machine parts as and when required
• Maintain a detailed record of machine maintenance, repairs, and parts replacement
• Oversee the overall maintenance strategy, ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of machines
• Engage in problem-solving activities to rectify any machinery issues
• Ensure safety standards are met during all maintenance operations
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry practices and machinery advancement.
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills in equipment maintenance.
• Competence in supervising and managing machine maintenance teams.
• Ability to implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a metal fabrication setting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
