Key Areas of Focus for this Role + Strategy Development : Create and implement a modernization strategy for Mainframe Infrastructure that enhances innovation, automation, productivity, and efficiency, including z/OS/ISV upgrades, PTF management, and AIOps. + Technical Guidance : Provide expert advice and support to Sysprogs on Mainframe modernization and migration to the latest tools, such as z/OSMF, Watson X for z, AIOps, Ansible, Python, and upgrade workflows. + Opportunity Identification : Utilize extensive knowledge of Mainframe architecture to identify and prioritize modernization opportunities. + Collaboration : Work closely with Sysprogs, SDMs, vendors, and clients to maximize the use of our capabilities and services. + Business Development : Partner with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. + Industry Awareness : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to Mainframe strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
