An exciting growth opportunity has recently opened for an ARRT or RCIS Certified Manager to oversee the clinical operations of Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Services at this excellent California hospital. Reporting to the Director of Cardiovascular Services, the Cath Lab Manager will play a crucial role in the growth of this department and the health of the community. As the clinical and administrative leader for a growing Cardiac Services program, the EP and Cath Manager will help spearhead care coordination and continuum between the various units in this impressive medical center. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a couple years of leadership in Cardiovascular, Cath Lab, and/or Electrophysiology Services to take on a well-run department in a beautiful part of California. The EP and Cath Lab Manager position is built for someone with ARRT or RCIS certification, but Nurse Leaders should apply too! As the clinical leader for the Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Cath Lab, you’ll get to serve as the mentor and leader to a strong team of RNs and Technologists. From CCRN ICU Nurses and Cardiac/Vascular Certified Registered Nurses, to the Cath Lab Technologists, Electrophysiology Techs, and CNAs, the Cath Lab Manager will develop and implement educational initiatives meant to draw from evidence-based practices and unit-based experience. From an administrative point-of-view, the Cath Lab & EP Unit Manager will oversee staffing and scheduling the staff for this busy 3-room Catheterization Lab more than 40 FTEs. An important facet of taking on this role will be budget and business development. Optimizing volume in the catheterization lab with the patient flow and employee staffing will be a wonderfully challenging project to take on as a new room is added over the next year. Once you experience the beauty, culture, and weather that California’s Central Coast offers, you’ll never want to leave. The ARRT / RCIS Cath Lab Manager will discover an amazing and historic area, where friendly people and gorgeous vistas abound. Whether you’re exploring the Spanish Missions that dot the coast, taking in live music, sampling the local vintage at one of the many wineries, eating great seafood, or just kicking back at the beach, you can do it at whatever pace you like. With great schools, close proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, and a tight knit community, why wouldn’t you want to explore? In addition to the support that comes with working at a research and teaching focused hospital, you’ll also find support from those above and below. As part of this trusted health care system, the EP and Cath Lab ARRT / RCIS Manager will also find a generous benefits package and competitive compensation.
