Manufacturing Converting Supervisor - Relocation Assistance!

This position is for a Converting Supervisor to join a privately-held, family-owned operation. Relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate.

Job Details

Base Pay Range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of converting operations within the manufacturing plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products.
• Lead a team of operators, providing necessary training and support.
• Ensure the safety of all employees by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within converting operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production flow.
• Manage and maintain converting equipment, scheduling regular maintenance.
• Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Generate and present regular reports on operations performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a converting manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of converting operations in carton, container, corrugated, conversion, paper mill, and cardboard industries.
• Proven experience in managing a team of operators.
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing plant.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to coordinate with other departments and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong technical skills for managing and maintaining converting equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate, with relocation assistance provided.
