Position Location
This position is located at 200 South Derby Lane, North Sioux City, SD.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategies to strengthen our brand presence and market share within our industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with our business goals and contribute to our overall growth. To succeed this role requires a deep understanding of the Sprayer / Outdoor Power Equipment and/or Lawn and Garden market and our core Customers. This is a very hands-on role. This role reports directly to the VP, Fimco Lawn and Garden division.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing and Planning
· Collaborate with VP and Sales Team to understand market needs.
· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
· Define target audiences and develop effective messaging and positioning.
· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness.
Campaign Management
· Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and events.
· Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
· Manage NEW Product Launches
· Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
Brand Management
· Maintain and enhance brand consistency across all marketing channels.
· Develop and implement brand guidelines and ensure adherence.
· Monitor brand reputation and address any issues or concerns.
· Assess current state, develop go-forward strategy and execute all levels of multi-lingual consumer packaging
Digital Marketing
· Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
· Develop and utilize analytics tools to track and report on digital marketing performance.
· Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
Content Creation
· Develop strategy and execution plan for updated Images, Video, etc,…
· Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging content creation.
· Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, videos, and social media posts.
· Ensure content is optimized for search engines and social media platforms.
Team Collaboration
· Collaborate with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business goals.
· Manage and mentor marketing team members (if applicable).
· Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
Reporting and Analysis
· Generate regular reports on marketing performance and provide insights to senior management.
· Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
· Provide recommendations for optimizing marketing strategies and campaigns.
· Responsible for analyzing Customer POS, SPS Commerce and internal reporting and development of dashboard reports for Fimco management.
Trade Shows and Events
· Assist VP and Sales Team with event preparation and assets
· Attend Trade Shows and Events as requested by VP (minimal travel required)
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
· 5 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success.
· Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
· Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience in Outdoor Power Equipment / Lawn and Garden is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with marketing automation tools.
· Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software.
· Project management experience.
