Our client, a leader in marine manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly of essential components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - After Coolers

Location: Wixom, MI

Pay Range: 20+/per hour

What's the Job?

• Assemble copper and brass parts used in boat components according to engineering specifications.
• Apply foam insulation or sealant using a foam gun to ensure proper fit, durability, and airtight sealing.
• Prepare and clean surfaces before applying foam or adhesives.
• Inspect assembled parts for quality, ensuring they meet production standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to follow assembly instructions.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, preferably in the marine, automotive, or HVAC industry.
• Experience using a foam gun or similar sealing/insulating tools (preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30-40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
