Position Overview: As a Mortgage Loan Originator , you will advise members on the best mortgage products , manage the mortgage process, and collaborate with local realtors , builders , and insurance agents to drive referrals . Staying current with industry trends and compliance regulations will help you provide the best mortgage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise members on the most suitable mortgage products based on their needs.
• Guide members through the mortgage process, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.
• Manage administrative tasks, including data entry , document collection , and follow-up .
• Build relationships with realtors , builders , and insurance agents to increase referrals and business growth.
• Stay informed about market trends , mortgage guidelines , and compliance regulations to ensure competitive offerings.
• Represent Kohler Credit Union at community events like homebuyer seminars and trade shows .

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in mortgage lending , processing , or management within a financial institution .
• Willingness to obtain an NMLS license .
• Strong understanding of mortgage products and compliance standards .
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building long-lasting relationships.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events for community engagement or educational opportunities.
