Network Administrator - 8 hrs/day (Tech Services/PC#250813)

Position Summary:
Plans, administers, and maintains all components of the local area and wide area networks. Plans and designs the network architecture and implementation of network infrastructure including hardware and software recommendations. Oversees technical support and help functions that relate to networks, security, redundancy and connectivity.

Employee Type : Full-Time
Salary: $43.01 - $56.89 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on experience.
Location: Technology Services Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).

Education and Experience :
The position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related technical field and 2 years of experience in network operations and analytics. Alternatively, the position will accept 6-8 years of progressively responsible network experience and industry certification such as but not limited to CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA.

Licenses and Certifications:
May require a valid driver’s license
