Job Summary/Description: First Alert 6 is searching for a skilled journalist to join our newsroom as a weekend anchor/MMJ. We are looking for a journalist who is as passionate about investigating and storytelling as they are about anchoring.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- On-air delivery of news
- Ability to help producers make good content decisions
- Aggressive breaking news coverage
- Enterprising story ideas that matter to our viewers
- Executing all aspects of storytelling
- Contributing content to station social media platforms
- Public appearances on behalf of the station
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or related field
- Ability to deliver news content in a clear and professional manner
- Strong writing and communication skills
- At least two years of experience as a television anchor or reporter.
