Night Auditor- Part-Time

Home2 Suites Bordentown is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our front office team. As a Night Auditor, you will oversee overnight hotel operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and deliver exceptional guest service. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong organizational skills who thrives in a calm, upscale environment.

  • $18.00/Hr.
  • Saturday and Sunday Overnight.
  • Must Pass Criminal Background Check.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services :

• Assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, and any overnight inquiries.

• Provide exceptional, personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold the Renaissance brand standard.

• Address and resolve any guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

Nightly Audit Duties :

• Perform nightly financial audits, including verifying and reconciling daily transactions.

• Balance all hotel revenue, including room charges, dining, and other outlets.

• Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial reports for hotel leadership.

Security and Safety :

• Monitor hotel security systems and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.

• Appropriately handle any situations that might arise.

Administrative Support :

• Organize and prepare reports, including occupancy, revenue, and shift handover logs.

• Manage overnight communications and ensure smooth transition to morning staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a front desk, night audit, or hospitality role preferred, but will consider other relevant qualifications.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.

• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs).

• Comfortable working overnight hours in an upscale hotel environment.
