Our private Orthopedic practice is looking to hire an Orthopedic Surgeon to come in and have full autonomy to do their Orthopedic care. This position will come with future ownership buy in options. The current non clinician owner, owns other complimenting healthcare clinics and is looking for the right person to partner and grow this business. The current owner surgeon is retiring and is willing to train the new surgeon to take over his role. This practice has been established and in the same location for almost 20 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, with the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Our practice has two Central Florida Locations with lots of room for growth!

Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
  • Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including joint replacements and fracture repairs.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and health coaching to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in orthopedic medicine, including relevant technologies and techniques.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedics.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Strong clinical skills in areas such as general orthopedics, radiology, and senior care are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Compensation

  • We will offer a salary based on current experience and skill level, plus bonuses based on overall performance.
