Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre is seeking a Parking Lot Attendant who will be responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. May handle cash and collect payment for parking fee. Responsibilities include taking numbered tags from guests, locating vehicles, delivering vehicles, or providing guests with instructions for locating vehicles; keeping parking areas clean and orderly to maximize space usage; directing motorists to parking areas or spaces using hand signals or flashlights; patrolling parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and thefts; parking and retrieving automobiles for customers; greeting guests and opening their car doors; calculating parking charges and collecting fees; issuing ticket stubs or placing numbered tags on windshields and giving guests matching tags; lifting, positioning, and removing barricades to open or close parking areas; inspecting vehicles to detect any damage; participating in the venue’s sustainability program including sorting waste and collecting recycling; partnering with band members at the end of shows to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables and storing event equipment; and other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor. Requirements include one-year previous guest service experience preferred, excellent communication skills, ability to walk constantly and sit occasionally, well-groomed appearance, preferred experience as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver, valid driver’s license with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years, and a high school diploma/GED preferred.
