Pharmacist - Clinical Oncology at St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a part-time Clinical Oncology Pharmacist - Oral Chemo to join our Specialty Oncology Pharmacy team. Our oncology pharmacists work closely with other healthcare professionals in a team setting to optimize patient experience and outcomes. This part-time pharmacist will have the opportunity to cross-cover oncology infusion pharmacy sites. Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Benefits include: + Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance + Air St. Luke's Life Flight + Certification pay + Support for local and national conference attendance + Tuition Reimbursement + Retirement plans + Paid Time Off + Extended Sick Leave + Annual compensation reviews and increases + And more Responsibilities + Manage all aspects of a medically integrated oncology specialty pharmacy from first receiving the prescription, to dispensing, counseling, and long-term follow-up for patients + Provide counseling to patient on oncology specialty medications including all aspects of high-level oncology care from administration, handling, side effects, and drug interactions + Recommend dose modifications or changes to treatment to oncologists based on patient's specific factors such as drug interactions, hepatic/renal function or other applicable reasons + Prescribe supportive care medications, update prescriptions with dose changes, and order accompanying labs/tests through an inclusive oncology collaborative practice agreement + Precept and aid in the development and growth of residents of an ASHP accredited PGY 2 oncology residency program Qualifications + Degree from an accredited pharmacy program + Valid Idaho Pharmacist License + Preferred experience includes PGY2 Oncology or similar experience Why St. Luke's St. Luke's Health System (is Idaho's largest employer and most awarded health system, with a medical staff of over 1,800 physicians and advanced practice providers.
