Hamilton Health Box (HHB) is a rapidly growing private equity-backed healthcare startup operating hybrid telemedicine-enabled primary care clinics for small and medium businesses and rural markets across the country. Our goal is to find high potential individuals to drive a high-touch, low-cost healthcare experience for all of our patients and clients.
Position Summary: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work closely with supervising Physicians. The key objective is to create value through health coaching, disease management, preventative screening and education. This is a full time, day shift position.
Essential functions: - Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
- Contributes to a physician's efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues.
- Recommends options and courses of action for patient care.
- Implements physician directives.
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results.
- Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds and infections.
- Instructs and counsels patients by providing normal growth and development information and providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living.
- Provides a community of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; and enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Collaborates in the development and evaluation of patient care. Updates clinical guidelines/protocols/pathways; works autonomously and accepts accountability for outcomes; signs orders in accordance with institution and state board requirements; collaborates in research and teaching projects and applies research to practice.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Develops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experimental growth opportunities.
- Utilizes telemedicine interface to complete virtual visits for additional clinics in market.
- Ability to float, round to multiple facilities and/or take call (first call) to support APPs.

Education: Graduate of a state approved PA program; PA License required.
Licenses/Certifications: - Licensure by the State of Oklahoma and eligibility for full prescriptive authority by the State of Oklahoma or other specified state (s).
- Eligibility for DEA licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Certification.

Salary Description
$120,000 to $140,000 per year Hamilton Health Box
