Recruiter

Job Summary:

The Recruiter will be responsible for providing recruiting assistance at the corporate level and for KAP Platform Agency Leadership Teams. This role will service unique Insurance Agency Platforms and will partner with Agency leadership to fill important roles and within the KAP organization. This role reports to the KAP Director of Recruiting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Assist with creation of job posts and individual screening criteria.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and other resources.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural alignment with KAP and the Agencies.
  • Provide guidance to candidates about the company, job roles, and the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in applicant tracking system.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and provide updates to candidates.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Participate in recruitment related projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Must possess high touch client service skills, including rapid responses to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment software.
  • Proficiency in social media, job boards, and networking to source candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check as permitted by law.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Office Location: 507 West Newton Street, Greensburg, PA 15601 (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)
