As you continue to learn, grow, and fuel your passion for food, you’ll find the possibilities at Wegmans are endless.What will I do?Ensure incredible service is provided by effectively handling a variety of tasksPreparing ingredients to be used by the culinary team as well as creating high quality mealsFollow proper recipes, knife skills and cooking techniques to provide consistent ingredients and finished productsBalance prep work while ensuring guests meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standardsComply with applicable State Restaurant Health Codes and RegulationsRequired Qualifications1 or more years’ experience working as a line cookKnife skillsEnthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant ingredients and cuisinePreferred QualificationsAssociate's or bachelor’s degree in culinary artsExperience working on multiple kitchen stationsExperience working a variety of positions in the restaurant or hospitality industryAt Wegmans, we’ve long believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
