Position Summary

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining specified buildings and facilities. Although this is a day position, the position may require the individual to be available to work alone during night shift, holidays, and weekends.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

To identify and implement process improvements which result in higher throughput, improved efficiencies, recognizable cost savings and more consistent product quality. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the fundamental functions and responsibilities of the job as defined below:

• Create a culture of Safety and Teamwork.
• Continuous improvement.
• Facilitate problem solving and develop action plans to address performance issues and achieve key performance indicator goals.
• Works independently to ensure that offices, control rooms, common use areas of all buildings and specified areas within production areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the sanitation field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Must be able to coordinate work responsibilities independently.
• Maintain complete and accurate records in sanitation logbooks.

Monitor sanitation equipment/supplies needs and report those needs to the appropriate supervisor in a timely fashion.

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
