Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Social Worker is needed to support K-12 students within a behavioral program for the 2025-2026 school year. This 190-day contract role runs from August 22, 2025, through June 10, 2026, and is situated in the Salem, OR area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral and emotional support to students in K-12 settings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain documentation of student progress
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student outcomes
• Connect students and families to community resources and services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) with appropriate state licensure or certification
• Experience working with school-aged children in behavioral or social work roles
• Knowledge of K-12 educational environments and behavioral intervention strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records in compliance with policies
