Job Description

Kelly Products is seeking SEO Specialist to manage all activities in the areas of search engine optimization and marketing. The SEO Specialist is responsible for all SEO activities including but not limited to: content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to identify valuable search terms and opportunities (continually perform discovery, expansion and optimization).
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing content, meta tags and headings.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Implement link building strategies to improve website visibility and ranking
  • Collaborate with content creators, web developers and marketing team to align SEO strategies with overall business goals.
  • Perform audits to identify and fix issues that may be affecting search engine rankings.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of SEO efforts.
  • Keep up to date with best practices in SEO, as well as competitor strategies, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven SEO experience 2-3 years.
  • Data-driven thinking and strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs or similar tools, digital heat mapping tools.
  • Sound comprehension of performance marketing, conversion and online customer experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Yoast SEO and Shopify.
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Continuous learning on latest trends and best practices in SEO.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / advertising / communications / data analytics, or equivalent experience.
