Salary: $140,000 - $170,000

Overview:

DSJ Global is partnered with a globally leading packaging organization seeking a Global Senior Engineer to join their corporate engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to lead and manage complex, high-impact projects across multiple international facilities. You’ll play a key role in project management, regulatory compliance, capital policies, and the successful execution of new projects, all while working with cutting-edge technology in the manufacturing industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Global Projects: Manage and oversee large-scale capital projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget across international locations.
• Process Optimization: Apply scientific and engineering principles to optimize processes, equipment, and operations at manufacturing facilities.
• Project Coordination: Develop and manage labor estimates, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to meet project objectives.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Act as the primary engineering contact for Factory Mutual, ensuring site improvements and mitigating risks. Evaluate and approve modifications to systems involving hazardous chemicals, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Environmental Responsibility: Partner with plant teams to maintain compliance with pollution regulations, permitting, testing, and other regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership: Manage third-party engineers, consultants, and contractors, defining project scopes and ensuring quality standards and contract compliance.
• Technical Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure the seamless integration of plant design, control systems, HVAC, and process handling systems.
• On-site Management: Oversee construction phases, from preconstruction walkthroughs to project close-outs, ensuring the successful execution of building and infrastructure projects.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, interns, and vendors, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Educational Background: A BS in Engineering (PE Certification is a plus).
• Experience: 10+ years of engineering experience, ideally in industrial manufacturing, with a preference for chemical manufacturing.
• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Global Experience: Comfortable with both domestic and international travel (20-40% of the time).
• Passion for Leadership: Ability to inspire teams, manage complex projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
