Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year A bit about us: Job Details: We are looking for a dynamic and highly analytical Permanent Senior Cost Accountant to join our team. This role is a pivotal part of our Accounting and Finance department, with the opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and strategic direction of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting, including manufacturing accounting, physical inventory processes, budget to actual variances, and variance analysis. Job Details Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting for cost, inventory, and sales analysis, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
• Prepare cost proposals in compliance with U.S. DFARS regulations and lead external audits.
• Coordinate and lead all customer, DCAA and DCMA proposal audits.
• Participate in the monthly close process, preparing journal entries and closing associated Oracle Modules related to Revenue, Cost of Sales and Inventory
• Prepare all post-closing inventory analysis and supporting schedules including the monthly reconciliation of perpetual inventory records to the general ledger.
• Conduct detailed cost and margin analysis to drive margin improvement across the business
• Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations managers to optimize inventory performance.
• Prepare the key manufacturing metrics monthly highlighting key trends.
• Develop and analyze sales forecasts, integrating actuals, backlog, and projections.
• Oversee cycle counts, physical inventory processes, and variance analysis, identifying key trends.
• Provide critical ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
