Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy, implementing accounting procedures, and supporting the growth of our global organization. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Assistance in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support tax filing preparations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Assist with annual audits and financial reviews
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience with gaming or technology companies a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with multi-state and international accounting/tax compliance
• Proficiency with NetSuite accounting software or similar tools
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work across distributed teams
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in high-growth environments preferred
