Senior Accountant

1. Duties (this is not an exhaustive list)
• Actively work on month-end-close process and month-end closing tasks
• Tie inventory and AR, AP GL balances to Subledgers
• Analyze all Prepaid expenses and record monthly expenses to GL
• Review Accrued expense account and prepare and enter monthly accruals
• Review GL activity and invoices for Sales and Use tax returns
• Review GL activity and invoices for Fixed Asset accounts
• Prepare and enter Goods in Transit accrual for month end
• Prepare and enter Freight and Duty schedule for month end
• Prepare monthly GL account analyses
• Code PO's (Purchase orders) for Fixed Assets.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors for closing end of June and end of December.
• Monitor i-controller, customer payments and overdue balances. Review emails in AR inbox.
• Apply customer check payments to appropriate AR accounts
• Perform cash reconciliations
• Prepare Treasury reporting on 10 daily basis
• Organize and update financial records and review for efficiency and accuracy
• Backup for entering bank activity into SAP on a daily basis
• Backup for entering AP invoices into SAP
• Backup for entering amex invoices with POs.
• Backup for sending Checks and ACH remittances
1. Degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Management;
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of professionalism
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel
• Good working experience with SAP
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and multi-tasking
• Ability to operate with integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential information

• The work is mainly performed while seated and requires the use of hand/arm for repetitive movements;
• It requires the use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations;
