About the Role
Scarpel Telecom is hiring freelance SMS testers across multiple countries to support our Anti-Fraud Department . This role is part of our ongoing efforts to detect SMS fraud, grey routes, and quality issues in A2P messaging. You'll be asked to send/receive SMS messages and report results based on simple instructions. Your work helps protect the integrity of telecom networks globally.
What You'll Do
Perform test SMS sends and receives using specific SIM cards and mobile devices
Document test results, screenshots, and delivery details in shared tools
Report delivery issues, content mismatches, or suspicious routing
Work with our Anti-Fraud team to troubleshoot failed tests or anomalies
Be available on short notice to run time-sensitive test cases (as needed)
What You'll Need
Reliable mobile phone and internet connection
At least one local, active SIM card (more = better)
Basic tech literacy and attention to detail
Ability to follow simple testing instructions accurately
Good written communication in English
Nice to Have
Dual SIM phone or multiple devices
Prior experience with telecom testing or QA work
Familiarity with SMS delivery behavior or telecom routing
