The UNCG School of Music seeks Piano Technician for full-time employment with benefits. The UNCG School of Music, a fully accredited member of NASM since 1938, is a unit of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, and is the only institution in North Carolina offering comprehensive degrees in music performance and music education from the baccalaureate through the doctorate with over 70 faculty members teaching a music student body of c. 600 majors. For years, the School’s alumni have distinguished themselves in important professional positions throughout the world while its student ensembles continue to perform frequently in prestigious state, regional, and international settings. Since 1999, the School of Music has occupied a building that affords students and faculty up-to-date technology and an outstanding environment for all aspects of music study and performance. Greensboro, equidistant between Atlanta and Washington, DC, between the mountains and the seashore, has been designated an All-American City. The primary purpose of this position is to provide piano maintenance and repair for our pianos as well as preparation of concert grands prior to rehearsals and performances.
