Job Title: Teaching Assistant (K-5)
Location: Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Teaching Assistant Coordinator
Work Hours/Days: 190 days following the school year calendar, usually from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day
Desired Start Date: Immediately
Hourly Wage: $18-21 per hour, depending on education and experience

Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver (ACAND) is hiring Teaching Assistants for Grammar School for the 2025-2026 school year. Our teaching assistants model good character and assist lead teachers in phonics-based literacy, Singapore math, and the great ideas and works of history, science, and literature, as well as support daily school operations.
We seek candidates with a high standard of excellence, professional demeanor, warm rapport with students, clear communication with parents and other staff members, and a can-do attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, diligent, and devoted to partnering with his/her lead teacher to help students grow in wisdom and virtue. This position collaborates directly with his/her assigned lead teacher and reports to the TA Coordinator.
