6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with a requirement for 6 weekend shifts per period.

Job Description

Join our team as an ICU Nurse specializing in Neurology at a fast-paced, critical care environment. The unit focuses on advanced neurological care for patients post-thrombectomy, TPA treatment, and neurosurgery. You will work in a unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2, providing high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with neurological conditions.


• Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement nursing interventions as necessary.


• Administer medications and manage advanced medical equipment, including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring.


• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.


• Educate patients and families about care processes and recovery plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.


• Previous ICU experience is required.


• Experience in neurology-specific care is highly preferred.


• Advanced skills in the care of post-thrombectomy and TPA patients, as well as post-neurosurgery patients.
