About i9 Sports:

i9 Sports is a recreational youth sports league teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. Our mission is to help kids succeed in life through sports!

Job Summary:

The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great sports experience for kids and parents on game days. From coaching and high-fives to equipment setup, organizing, refereeing, and game management, you'll have a blast teaching kids the fundamentals of sport!

Responsibilities:

1. Assist parent volunteer coaches in leading practice sessions with kids ages 3-14, focusing on fundamentals and skill development across multiple sports.
2. Facilitate and referee games - understand rules, keep score and time, focus on player improvement, be vocal, and have a coaching mindset!
3. Teach and demonstrate the i9 Sports Sportsmanship values.
4. Engage with kids and parents with a positive attitude and deliver a fantastic customer experience.

This is a Good Fit If You:

1. Have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following sports: soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, volleyball.
2. Have experience working with kids.
3. Are skilled at delivering positive customer service - are you high energy, positive, and upbeat?
4. Able to work weekends in Petaluma.
