Salary/Position Classification

• $12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5-10 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• 100% - Generate, review, and edit for accuracy auto-generated closed captioning for pre-recorded educational materials; Generate, review, and edit for accuracy transcripts for pre-recorded educational materials; Review other elements of online courses, such as PDFs, as needed to ensure educational materials meet accessibility guidelines - (Essential)

Required Competencies

• Accurate data entry skills
• Strong editing skills, including grammar and spelling (English language)
• Ability to work independently

Minimum Requirements

• Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
• Must have access to a computer and reliable internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transcript editing, Blackboard, Yuja or OneDrive
